Smash Gloves

SMASH batting gloves were created by the father-son duo of Shaun Alldredge Sr. and SJ Alldredge (Shaun Jr.), SMASH is more than just a batting glove company—it's an opportunity for the Alldredge family to contribute to a game that has been a lifelong passion. An opportunity to play a small part in each player’s journey.

Shaun has served Lone Peak Youth Baseball as league commissioner for our Minors  division (9-10)for the last 2 years and is now the commissioner for our Majors division (11-12). Shaun has been an assistant coach in our Rookie division, head coach in our Minors division, head coach of the 2022 Lone Peak 8u state runner-up All-Star team, and head coach of the 2023 Lone Peak State Champion 9u All-Star team. SJ is preparing to play his 3rd LPYB season, and has represented LPYB as a member of the State Runner-Up 8u, and State Champion 9u All-Star teams.

SMASH has partnered with Lone Peak Youth Baseball to make a meaningful impact this season. During the registration process, Shaun and SJ Alldredge have pledged to contribute 25% of all proceeds from SMASH batting gloves purchased at the time of registration back to Lone Peak Youth Baseball. These funds will be dedicated to essential field maintenance, player scholarships, umpire fees, and many of the other intricate details that make every player's experience truly special.

Here are 6 REASONS WHY LOCAL BUSINESSES SHOULD SPONSOR Lone Peak youth Baseball

Large national brands have become ingrained in professional-level sports. With fans' strong emotional ties to sports, companies know they can score some of the love by sponsoring halftime shows, finish lines, seating sections and more.

Sports sponsorship isn't just a game for the big leagues. Many savvy small businesses invest in sponsoring local community sports organizations. Some consider their sponsorship a charitable contribution and others, a form of advertising. Either way, it's a win-win relationship that pays off for the sponsor and the league.

Here are 6 reasons why businesses should sponsor Lone Peak Youth Baseball:

  1. Increase awareness of the company's products and services. Each sponsorship package has benefits for the sponsor built in: field signage, website advertising, etc. Through a sponsorship, a company's brand will be in front of the youth sports market of parents, relatives, coaches, program organizers, players, fans and the Alpine community.
  2. A welcomed form of advertising. In most settings consumers are inclined to tune out advertising. Although many traditional ways of reaching consumers are failing, youth sports sponsorships are a positive and engaging way to market a brand. Parents like to see that companies are supporting local sports and will partronize those businesses.
  3. Help sponsor uniforms and the upgrade of the baseball fields at Burgess park. Reducing registration money being used for uniforms allows the league to use that money for field improvments. Field donations will also allow us to replace fences, backstops, mounds, sod, concrete, bases and many other needed repairs to get our fields back to a tournament level facility.
  4. Outstanding value for the dollars invested. Although sponsorship package costs vary, they commonly range from $100 up to $5,000 or more. When comparing the cost of other marketing outlets like print, television and billboard advertising, Lone Peak Youth Baseball sponsorship can be a great value and a smart option to include into the marketing mix.
  5. Build goodwill. Companies that sponsor the Lone Peak Youth Baseball program make a positive contribution to their community. Overall this can evoke a community wide feeling that a company understands the impact and importance of sports for their youth. This feeling can instill loyalty among a business' current and future patrons.
  6. Possible tax incentive. Lone Peak Youth Baseball is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit group. Sponsoring businesses can get a tax break for making a charitable donation. That is just another added benefit of sponsoring our wonderful youth.
